Description
Spanish Porcelain Wall Tiles (30×60 cm)
A rectified porcelain wall tile imported from Spain. Rectified means the edges are machine cut after firing, so every tile is exactly the same size and can be laid with a 2 mm grout line instead of the usual 4 mm. On a full bathroom wall the difference is obvious, the surface reads as one continuous plane rather than a grid.
Where this tile works best
- Bathroom and shower walls, floor to ceiling
- Kitchen splashbacks behind the counter and hob
- Feature walls in bedrooms and living rooms
What to know before you buy
The matte face hides water spots and fingerprints far better than a gloss tile, which matters in a shower that gets daily use. Porcelain absorbs almost no water, so it will not stain or swell in a wet room.
Because the tile is rectified, installation needs a level wall and a fitter who works to a tight tolerance. If your fitter is used to standard tiles, tell them the tile is rectified before they start. We are happy to talk your fitter through it.
